The KIA Tigers have removed a number of players from their first-team roster.

The KBO announced the first-team roster changes on its official website on Monday.

The most prominent team is KIA,먹튀검증 which removed five players from its roster, including starting first baseman Hwang Dae-in, closer Jung Hae-young, foreign ace Sean Anderson, left-handed reliever Kim Dae-yoo, and infield prospect Yoon Do-hyun. With a winning percentage of less than 5 percent in May, KIA is in the middle of the pack with an 8-11 record this month.

Anderson, who served as the foreign ace with a 2.58 ERA last month, will also be dropped from the first team. After losing three of his four games in May without a win, Anderson’s ERA is 7.71, and his strikeouts have increased significantly.

Closer Jung Hae-young has been even more disappointing in May. Jung has been struggling with his velocity since the beginning of the season, and his power has dropped even further in May. Last season, she averaged nearly 145 mph, but this season she’s averaging just over 141 mph. As a result of her lack of power, Jung’s strikeout rate has dropped significantly.

Hwang Dae-in, who made the leap to first base last season, disappointed with a double-digit batting average in May after a strong April. He hit just one home run in May and struck out 16 times. With Na Sung-beom and Kim Do-young out with injuries and Hwang Dae-in unable to step up, KIA is ranked fifth in team home runs and fifth in team OPS.

Meanwhile, the KT Wiz have also recalled foreign pitcher Bo Schuler from the first team.

Schuler hasn’t been great this season, going 1-7 with a 5.62 ERA in nine games and 32 runs (31 earned) in 49.2 innings pitched. He seemed to bounce back with a quality start against Kiwoom on April 23 (6.1 innings, 2 runs), but collapsed against Samsung Electronics on April 28 (3.1 innings, 6 runs).
