With the momentum of the previous day’s extra-inning win, three runs in the top of the ninth inning that looked like it was going to seal the deal, and a 7-3 score in the bottom of the ninth, it’s safe to say the game was over.

Traffic was heavy at Dodger Stadium on 먹튀검증 Sept. 26, and Dodger fans exited the stadium in droves after the Toronto Blue Jays’ Danny Jansen hit a two-run double in the top of the ninth. 47,016 fans were in attendance for Max Muncy’s bobblehead day, but down by four runs, the Dodgers refused to give up.

The Dodgers tied the game at 7-7 in the bottom of the ninth on a Mookie Betts single, a Max Muncy bunt single and a Chris Taylor double that bounced off the second baseman’s glove with two outs to send the game to extra innings. The Dodgers had lost 6-3 in 11 extra innings to Toronto the day before.

After giving up a home run to Matt Chapman in the eighth inning the day before in extra innings, Brusdar Graterol gave up a single to right field to Bo Bissett with the bases loaded and a phantom runner on second. It looked like it would be the game-winner. But Betts, switching from second base to one-position right field, caught Bissett’s throw and threw out Kevin Kiermaier at home.

Toronto manager John Schneider used a challenge, but was unsuccessful in getting a run across as the play was ruled a double play.

The Dodgers loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th with no outs and advanced a runner to third on a sacrifice bunt. Rookie James Outman then hit a game-tying double off Mitch White, who bears a striking resemblance to Chan Ho Park, to give his team an 8-7 victory.

White, who was traded to Toronto from the Dodgers, was happy to see Clayton Kershaw and his old teammates before the game, but in the world of competition, he was on the losing end. The outfielder’s shot hit the fence and was ruled a double after the umpires reviewed it for a home run. The Dodgers are now 4-4 in extra innings. 58-42 on the season.

The watershed moment of the game came in the top of the 10th inning of extra innings. Second baseman Kevin Kiermaier dives for home on Bo Bissett’s single to right field, but is thrown out by Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts at the plate by catcher Will Smith. Toronto lost a game they had all but won, pulling Jordan Romo, who had a save the day before, for the ninth inning and bringing in Eric Swanson, who gave up four runs on five hits to tie the game. 56-46 on the season.
