Previously, in August of last year, the Sports Fair Committee of the Korea Ice Skating Federation imposed a 1 year and 6 month suspension of qualifications on Kim Min-seok by applying a drunk driving accident, drunken disturbance, and damage to the dignity of an athlete, and reviewed the future rulings of the judges and made a national decision. It has been stated that if it falls under the cause of disqualification, it will take action according to the relevant regulations.
