AC Milan’s veteran striker Olivier Giroud is said to be open to returning to London.

The 36-year-old veteran has left London for AC Milan and is enjoying a second prime. He moved the team from Chelsea to AC Milan in 2021, and contributed greatly to the team’s Serie A victory in his first season.

At the end of last year, he was named as a member of the French team for the World Cup in Qatar, and France, who had emergency lights turned on due to Karim Benzema’s injury, advanced to the final. Without Giroud’s frontline performance, France would not have made it to the final. Giroud has scored 25 goals and provided 10 assists in 69 appearances for the French national team. 바카라

Giroud’s contract with AC Milan expires at the end of this season. However, he has yet to hear of a contract renewal. Giroud has signed a new contract with AC Milan and said his goal is to end his playing career there, but no contract news has been heard.

British media ‘The Sun’ reported that if Giroud does not stay at AC Milan, he is considering continuing his playing career in London. Giroud is comfortable with his London life. He spent nine years at Arsenal and Chelsea before joining AC Milan. And the fact that he can play on the highest stage of the Premier League cannot be ignored.

Of course, when he looks at the situation he is going back to, it doesn’t seem easy for him to return to Arsenal and Chelsea. They spend money on young, strong players and aim for the best lineup. It is practically impossible to go to Tottenham, another prestigious London club.

However, there are many more teams besides these three teams in London. Fulham, Brentford, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are all expected to show enthusiasm in signing Giroud, who will qualify as a free agent.

Even boredom can be tempting. Fulham are making a splash as they are 6th in the league. Brentford is also 9th, ahead of Chelsea in 10th place. Both teams deserve a good shot at qualifying for the Europa League.

Crystal Palace is ranked 12th, but it is important that the coach is Patrick Vieira, Giroud’s French senior. The attack power is weak, so boredom is bound to be desperate. West Ham are just above the relegation zone, but they have plenty of room for a turn around as they are not far behind the mid-table teams.
